ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and having new experiences. There is so much to explore in the world. I have not been able to travel in 9 years due to concentrating on furthering my career as a chef.

I am easygoing and get along with pretty much anyone. I am non judgemental. Every one is an individual and has different opinions and views on things.

My journey in this life is to have fun and be happy. If I can make others happy to - that makes me even more happy. Life is what you make of it and anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone is put on this earth to have a journey. Rollercoasters or merry go rounds its up to you. Bad experiences make us appreciate the good. I believe in the everything happens for a reason philosophy. You may not know why at the time, but down the track, it all falls in place and you get why IT happened. Whether it is why you met a person, or why something bad happened or why you ended up in a particular place at a particular time. Its been true for me up until now. Main thing is to be happy and have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this concept. I am travelling for the first time in 9 years. It would be a different experience than your run of the mill 'tour' or backpacker hostel winging it type thing. I want to immerse myself in the culture and actually experience the real country not just the tourist traps. The underbelly of the country/city so to speak. As a chef, I want to fully understand the customs and culture that surrounds a country, the whys etc and how food brings us together. In return, I learn and share my experiences as well.
