ABOUT ME

I am a practicing attorney. I have two grown daughters who are college students.

When I first joined CS, I lived in Tampa (I was a life long Tampa resident), on Davis Island, hence my daughter who signed me up for CS picked the name "TAMPAISLANDGIRL" but in March 2011, I got married to a professor at University of Central Florida and moved to Orlando. I am keeping the same name and profile so folks can still find me.

Every day is a gift. Live it fully, but don't take life too seriously; No one gets out alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

the CS experience was a project initiated and managed by my youngest daughter when she lived with me. We hosted many couch surfers and found them to be interesting, adventurous people. I have since then gotten married and moved to Orlando.

We have hosted several couch surfers and found them to be interesting, adventurous people. We have not yet surfed.

Interests

I love to play music, sing, meet new people, travel, cook, garden, sail. Interested in experimenting with sustainable living and alternative energy; interested playing music, jamming, writing songs. I volunteer at the local organic farm and on community radio. I love to camp out and go to music festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was at the eruption of Mt. St Helens 30+ years ago. I lived in Yosemite National Park the summer before I started law school. I studied in Mexico in the summer of 1975. I have been to Europe 4 times, but never had enough time to do it justice.
