Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've been on the road for about a month so far camping and staying with friends. As we head north the weather is making camping a little bit harder and friends are becoming scarce. It would be great to meet new people along this journey to learn and share these experiences. As we search for a new home it would be nice to get a feel for the local scenery from people in the know.

In Chicago I was a pastry chef/bread baker so showing someone how to bake their own bread would be great. We would be honored to make you dinner for a night or breakfast in the morning! After living in a big city for so long I am still getting used to life in the outdoors so any tips or tricks would be much appreciated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Both Ryan and I were chefs in Chicago and would love to share that knowledge with hosts! Ryan is better with meats, charcuterie, smoking, BBQing and I'm more of a bread and pastries expert. We are also both interested in farming and animals so we would love to help where needed.
