CURRENT MISSION

Love travelling, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, always seeking more and random experiences.

For years I was using couchsurfing more just for the social aspect, organising/attending hangouts and events, but more recently I have had the privilege of being hosted on my travels. It's not about a place to stay for me, it's about the whole experience.

I have been absolutely astounded by the incredible generosity, openness, hospitality and warmth offered by each host, and each experience has been unique and wonderful in its own way. It is a bit out of my comfort zone to impose myself on someone in this way (which is why I hadn't done it sooner!), but it has been so worth it to get to know such amazing people and to benefit from this insight into their culture and place, which is honestly invaluable in discovering places in a completely different (and much better!) way.

So I'm really hoping to continue having such amazing shared experiences with this wonderful global community🫶

ABOUT ME

Currently based in Lisbon, travelling when i can and really interested in going to the countries that you don't tend to hear so much about. I have a specific interest in and focus on the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. I’m vegan, and love finding vegan versions of local dishes while i’m away.

I will always bring some gift whether from my current travels or from Portugal, where i'm currently based. Also happy to offer meals/drinks etc out, and of course to help out around the house.
