I'm chronicling and cross-pollinating. A warrior for human potential.

PHILOSOPHY
Polyamory is my world view. I'm deeply existential, a Daniel Kahneman fangirl and believe in the theory of emotion construction. I'm highly progressive in my social views, a pragmatist and a realist, but I strive for the ideal. I am highly energetic, seek to be creative and productive, emote ebullience in my approach to life and I still try to find a silverlining. But gimme some black humor with a slice of cynicism to round things out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everywhere I travel, I meet couchsurfers who encourage me to join the movement. I have gained so much in the way of cultural and social understanding simply through informal meetups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Toronto, Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines. One highlight involved bringing a new couchsurfing pal to the top of Singapore's poshest hotel to check out the swimming pool that looks out over the entire city. Another became a massive art project, incorporating lines of my poetry and body painting.

A good yarn, a good laugh, a good conversation. (I'm also partial to current affairs, changemakers, creative 'n brainy types and yoga.)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love to dance barefoot, with my eyes closed. I love to read good non-fiction and better fiction. I took film studies in university. But specific 'likes' don't define me. I do love to walk into a film completely blind -- that is, without any idea of the plot (and therefore, with no expectations.)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I've met many people from everywhere and gained so much, both via travels and my career. All I can hope is that I can pass along a touch of what I've learned. I dig a good wordsmith, get a kick from sharin ideas and encourage critical thinking. I can also tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue.
