I am from cosmopolitan and multiracial Singapore, and am a Singaporean Chinese. My great-great-grandparents are probably from China, but I've lived in Singapore since I was born!

I am a very smiley and easy-going guy with many different interests. I really like the feeling of meeting new people, exchanging our experiences and beliefs, and eventually forging new friendships. I also like looking out for other people, so for those who are lost or lonely, I will try my best to make you feel welcomed!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have currently just finished serving my 2 years of mandatory National Service in the army in Singapore, and have quite a long period of time before university starts. Hence, I would like to take this time to travel and get to meet people of different cultures and nationalities around the world, learn and understand their lives, as well as the language they speak, even if it is only at a basic level. Most importantly, I hope to make friends and have a great time!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Growing up, I've always liked learning new things and picking up new skills, but never really that any particular one was my forte. You can probably call me a "Jack of all Trades, but master of none". I really like music, and have learnt the piano since I was 7 (which is typical of an Asian family in Singapore haha), and the Tuba in Junior College playing in a Symphonic Band, picked up table tennis as a sport since 10, and was part of the Debate team in my secondary school. Also, I have always had a strong interest in learning different foreign languages. Being a Singaporean, I have learnt English and Mandarin (Chinese). I have also been learning Korean since I was 14, and am still learning German for about a year now during my free time in the Army.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm open to sharing my twenty years worth of life stories (including my life as a Singaporean, my experiences in the army etc) and teach you English, Chinese and anything else I'm confident in helping you out with. I'm a good companion (I like to think so) and I'm cool with trying new things to experience the local culture.
