About Me
CURRENT MISSION
2014- To visit as many places as I can during my gap year and to explore the vast world.
2015- Gap year's coming to an end, and the newest chapter of my life is about to start--college. I'm kinda excited? Kinda hating life.
ABOUT ME
I'm shy at first but once I warm up to someone, I can be very sarcastic, generous, adventurous, silly, and spontaneous. I'm also not afraid to make fun of myself. I should add--I'm prone to fits of weirdness. I'll just start flailing my arms and making crazy noises. It's super funny. Hmm, and I'm a vegetarian.
PHILOSOPHY
You get what you give. Whenever my mind wanders into negative areas, I try to remind myself that everything happens for a reason and if anything's meant to happen, it'll happen--the universe is a great and powerful thing.
Set no path, therefore you never lose your way because in the end, you're headed somewhere...if that makes sense? So yeah, just live, whatever!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Helping out, having fun! I'm often traveling by myself and meeting/staying with fellow travelers and open-minded people's always a great time.
Interests
I love taking pictures of anything that strikes me--it could be the way the light hits the back of a person's head to a close up of a bead of water encapsulating the surrounding area to just a nice, old scenic landscape.
Music is also another interest. I'm that friend that always has to have music playing in the background, while everyone's just hangin'. It adds to everything and it's just perfection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Nicaragua a couple years ago to help build homes and toilet systems for families that were economically suffering.
During my gap year, I went to Alaska for 2 months. During that time, I farmed on an island and slept in a tent with my only source of heat being a wood stove. It was super awesome!
