Travelling to the parts of Europe I missed the first time round. Egypt, Jordan and Israel too!

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm in Australia near a semi-popular tourist attraction called the 12 Apostles. I've played all kinds of sports all my life, especially Tennis. I'm a positive and happy person. Nothing really gets me down. I'm usually always smiling and laughing. I'm not what you would call shy either, I love to have a chat with people. I'm also very active, and sitting still is something I struggle with as I get bored quickly. Not that I can't be patient when it's required, but I do like to do things rather than sit back and relax.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short - make the most of everything. Life should be fun. Balance is the key.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am constantly travelling, and I haven't had any opportunities to host, but I definitely intend to host when the opportunity presents itself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I still haven't really couchsurfed with anyone whom I hadn't already made contact with through travelling. Something I look forward to giving a go.
I've stayed with a couple of people that I have met through travelling, and I had a very friendly and positive experience. I'm definitely keen to meet some people through this medium.

Music, Sport, Staying fit, exploring! making up crazy fun little games when I'm bored. I'll try make the most out of any situation, good or bad. I believe balance is the key yes?

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a big fan of film, and there's not much I don't like. However ask me about an actors name and I'll probably shoot you a blank stare (I love idioms). I love Isobelle Carmody as a writer and her incredible Obernewton Chronicles. I'm definitely into my music and have so much of it now that I just put my iPod on random and see what comes up. Definitely a big fan of independent (indi) music of late.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Drove a van around Europe for 2 and a half months with 2 very cool people I met in London. The highlight of the trip was driving from Oslo to Bergen in Norway. Never seen such amazing scenery. At one point on that trip we rode our mountain bikes to see a glacier, and at the base of the glacier was a misty green lake with a rowing boat in it. Of course we got in the rowing boat and rowed out into the middle of the lake with the glacier backdrop! Best thing I've ever done.
