ABOUT ME

My boyfriend and I both have a master degree in History (we met during our studies...2 historians together, aaaH!). We lived in Paris for 4 months last year (in the Canadian House at the Cité Universitaire), and that was a marvellous experience. Lots of friends, lots of parties, lots of wine... ;o)

We came back home full of memories, and wanting more! So we are now in London for 8 months, this is not the same kind of experience since we are both working full-time (aah, we miss the student way of life ;o)), but we are learning a lot about the British culture.

Everytime we have holidays, we try to go abroad. We have been in Strasbourg (France) for Christmas, to Vienna (Austria) in February, and we're planning a great trip for June: France, Spain, Italy and Greece. As soon as my boyfriend's contract will be over (end of may), we'll leave the country to travel as much as we can (money!) before heading back home to the "real life" (real work, responsabilities,...blah.)

Until then, we hope to see as many as possible, and have fun!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None for now, but I have a couple of friends who did it and enjoyed it a lot! That's why we want to try it!

兴趣

As historians, we like to visit museums, old cities, see different architectures, and even sometimes, follow a guided tour (after all the guide knows more than we do!).
We also enjoy to go out and have a pint, or a glass of wine (depends in which country we are, in France wine is so cheap!!).
We are really cheerful and friendly. We like different cultures (we live with Polish and Bresilian roomates, my workmates are from Germany, Trinidad & Tobago and Bangladesh... but where are the Britons?!?!), and in Paris we loved to hang out with people from around the world in the Cité Universitaire (30 houses from 30 countries, so we lived with people from Italy, Spain, USA, Grece, South America...).
