Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Tanguy, an historian and a teacher !
What I like the most in traveling is to discover new landcapes, but mostly new cultures : new people, new cuisine, etc...
I'm very curious of habits of different countries, that's why I try to avoid the touristical way pf traveling.
I am very curious about music too : I like every type of music, I am not very difficult on that point.
Because I am a teacher, in the week, I may not have much time to guide people in the city, and I may have some classes to prepare. But do not worry : even while I work, I can have an appreciable conversation !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people, have a taste of the habits of native people and not only the obvious touristical tour. I really enjoy trying every single cuisine !

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some words of French, even Old French .
I can also talk about general history and specificaly French history.
I can also help with some homerwork in French, in european history, in geography !
And, if you are an amateur, I am very confident in "palaeography" : deciphering very old texts (from tenth century to nowadays) in latin alphabet. (I may not understand the meaning of every language, but I can read the letter and, trust me, it is not nothing)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Typical cuisine, typical food : one of the best way to live like a native is to eat the specialities !
