Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel and enrich myself with culture and history.
ABOUT ME
I believe in exploring the unknown, adapting to change, taking risk, being honest over diplomatic and being straight forward. I dislike them, who hide behind a social face. I am a lone traveler by choice but can be a good companion if the others are not too bugging.
PHILOSOPHY
The joy of meeting new people and never be achieved if you stick to travel with chosen friends or just family! Travel alone, travel through your life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had heard of couchsurfing website from a friend who said its a network of bagpack travellers who doesn't care about luxury. I also heard that when you have the desire to travel and not much to meet international travel expenses, you can count on couch surfing members for a secured stay. What I saw here was different though (yes there are funny local guys asking to meet me and I am not interested in their compliments at all) - I am here only to get a help/or help a fellow traveler in distant land where there exist an issue of currency and quick movement or say the hotels are very expensive. Being friends is the next option keeping in mind that we can be good acquaintances also- you cannot be a friend without knowing a person well, let's accept that fact! I offer my place on weekends as my house is well located to travel the entire stretch of southern karnataka, opening up to Kerala and Tamil nadu as well. I am working full time and therefore cannot have quests on weekdays. The stay is free with food on the house if the guest is okay to eat what I have cooked or ordered online. I do not accept Indian as I know they can very well navigate themselves in this country and can manage the cost as well. This help is only to cross country fellow travelers who believe in just travelling and no other hook-up expectations.
I have not hosted here on couchsurfing yet, that does not mean I haven't hosted at all. I have had US, German, French nationals (from my corporate life) at home to taste the food and relax thru the few hours before catching a flight without paying a hefty hotel charge. I will be using the surfing facility when I travel abroad for short stays only and where I don't see the hotels are safe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every experience is amazing only if you know how to interpret it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like sharing stories about a place i know, have been and also learn from others. Then, i like relating my presence in that place- why was I there? Kind of philosophical.
