ABOUT ME

We are a couple that is living this new experience: travel together. Both of us had traveled separately and this is our first shared trip. We are a quiet couple that likes to meet with friends in our house and enjoy a good meal. But also we like to go to parties because we love to dance. Before this trip we lived 1 year together in Santiago, but each had previously lived outside the parents' home, sharing apartments with friends.
Tania is 29 years old and David is 27 (yes, David is minor than Tania, jaja). Both have many brothers and sisters and we like to share with ours â

PHILOSOPHY

We try to understand the world around us, where we live. We believe that the respect and the empathy with other people is the way for a good life. We do not dream with a lot of materials things, we want to learn to live with few things, aiming to a simple life but with our loved ones around.

Tratamos de entender el mundo en el que vivimos. Creemos que el respeto y la empatía con el resto de la gente es el camino para tener una buena vida. No soñamos con tener muchas cosas materiales, queremos aprender a vivir con lo mínimo, aspirando a una vida sencilla pero rodeada por nuestra gente.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just now, while we are traveling, we met this community. We love the idea of mutual support and, when when we return to our city, we want to receive people from every places of the world in our house!!

Recien ahora, mientras estamos viajando, conocimos esta comunidad. Nos encanta la idea de apoyo mutuo y cuando volvamos a vivir nuestra ciudad queremos recibir a gente de todas partes del mundo!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We know this community recently. We knew it for some friends that recommended it us. So we have not got experience with it.

Estamos recién conociendo esta comunidad. Llegamos a ella por amigos que nos la recomendaron. Aún no hemos tenido experiencia en ella.

Cook and eat. Listen music. Dance and Theater. Read about art. Watch movies. Travel, of course!
Tania: Body disciplines (massage, pilates, yoga and dance of course). Go to concert and live performances arts.
David: Everything about the bicycles. Outdoor activities. And now I am starting to learn photography.

Cocinar y comer. Escuchar música y bailar. Leer acerca de arte. Ver películas. Viajar, por supuesto!
Tania: Disciplinas en torno al cuerpo (masaje, pilates, yoga y danza obviamente). Ir a conciertos y obras en vivo.
David: Todo lo que tenga que ver con bicicletas. Salidas al aire libre. Y recién estoy empezando con la fotografía.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: Everything (since the classic music until hip-hop, passing for the folklore)
Movies: We like the movies too much and it is difficult to do a list with ours favorites, but we like the independents films, especially the Latin-American. Also we see commercials films without shame and we love the cartoons movies from Pixar.
Books: We have read few books in the last time (but we are open to hear suggestions). We like to see arts books like the Taschen's.

Música: TODA (desde lo clásico al hip-hop, pasando por el folcklore)
Películas: Nos gusta mucho el cine y nos cuesta hacer una lista con lo que más nos gusta, pero nos gusta mucho el cine independiente, especialmente el latinoamericano. También vemos cine comercial sin pudor y nos gustan mucho las películas de Pixar.
Libros: Hemos leído poco en el último tiempo (estamos abiertos a sugerencias). Nos gusta ver libros de arte como los que hace la editorial TASCHEN.

Tania: See the Atacama Dessert (Chile) and then make a performance in that place.
David: Be in Macchu Picchu (Peru) and Eastern Island (In the middle of Pacific Ocean)

Tania: Ver el desierto de atacama y luego haber hecho una obra de danza en ese lugar.
David: Estar en Macchu Picchu e Isla de Pascua.

教，学，和分享

We are very interested in to teach, learn and share knowledge about the cooking, because for us this is a simple cultural exchange but deep at the same time.
Also Tania can teach something about dance and David can teach something about bicycles.

Lo que más nos interesa aprender, enseñar y compartir es la cocina, porque para nosotros es un intercambio cultural sencillo pero profundo a la vez.
También Tania puede enseñarles algo de danza y David alguna reparación de bicicletas.
