About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Struggling with schoolkids in Northengland

ABOUT ME

I am a fun and open person, always trying to smile and see the positive side of things :)
It's my greatest interest to travel and see as much of the world as possible, as well as getting work experience abroad. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learning about their country and their culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't dream your life, but live your dreams!
Don't think of it - do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only surfed so far - and I always had great experiences and met a lot of interesting people so far - but I would really like to host any time, too! It's just that I haven't spent much time at home since I participated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just great so far! I can hardly recommend cs to everyone who is open to meet new people and do something "different"

Interests

other countries and cultures, sports, reading

Music, Movies, and Books

Patrick Süßkind: Das Parfum
It's my absolute favourite, but I love reading all different kinds of books (Patricia Cornwell, Nicholas Sparks, Cecilia Ahern, Stephen King, Henning Mankell,...)
music: very broad - pop, rock, indie-rock, alternative, metal,... (The Killers, Greenday, My chemical romance, Lonestar, Muse, Metallica,...)
movies... yeah, kind of everything... as long as I can watch it in English :) (learning purpose)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done quite some great thinigs so far, but Husky sledging in Norway was the most amazing thing I can think of right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

as I am a teacher I have to learn new things all the time and be "up-to-date" (in my subjects) and I really love learning. I am sure it is a life-long process and I am happy for that (so I won't get bored on any moment!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria
