Living the life I love, loving the life I live. Dreaming and living my dreams. Always up for an adventure, random road trip or going somewhere new.

I've travelled in way over 20 countries and 5 continents spending some two years of my life so far living out of a backpack, mostly in North-America and Oceania. In September 2008, after some not so serious consideration, I packed my stuff and moved to warmer latitudes to Andalucia, Spain, leaving behind the cold and dark in Finland that I never much enjoyed. 1,5 years later I moved to Nepal for a year to work in a forest inventory project. A dream-come-true work opportunity, to develop as a person and as a professional. From there I moved on to Norway in 2011 and I'm still here :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to share my time and ideas with relaxed, open and trustworthy people . I'm sharing a house with my partner so it's not for dating or party purposes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My surfing experience is limited to one stay in Morocco, Fez, which was wonderful. I have hosted many and I have just positive things to tell, some of my visitors became friends of a lifetime.

Rock climbing and mountaineering: the physical and mental challenge as well as the beauty of the surroundings keeps taking my breath away time after time.

Anyone interested in rock climbing, I can show you how to do it safely (but you need to bring your own basic equipment like shoes and harness).

Anyone interested in adventures in the wilderness, I can sure take you there and probably also bring you back alive... :)

If you need advice in travelling in the locations where I've been, I'm willing to tell my best tips in finding secret spots etc. If you can share your favorite secret spots with me, even better. I like to travel "off the beaten track" and avoid the touristy stuff whenever possible.
