My name is Tanner and I am currently living in Bali, Indonesia for the upcoming 6 months. I work in the field of marketing and communications, with my focus being graphic design. I LOVE food, meeting new people and exploring the heart of a new community.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

While I was living in the Philippines, one of the first ways I reached out to try and make friends was an incredibly strong CC community. They took me in, housed me, took me on trips and became lifelong friends. The Couch Surfing community truly made my 6 months in the Philippines an experience I will never forget.

A few years prior to the Philippines, I hosted a couple Couch surfers, and the concept is awesome, so I'm looking forward to getting involved and participating as a surfer myself!

Life is full of amazing moments but some that stick out are:

-Swimming in the magical bioluminescence in Vancouver Island's crisp pacific ocean.
-Spending over 24hrs on a train ride to Varanasi, India.
- Having a black bear knock down my trail camera directly in front of me.
-Meeting Jane Goodall.
- Eating delicious food wherever I go!
