ABOUT ME

Have a passion for getting to know people & sharing incredulous tales! (We all have them.) I enjoy; sitting with friends around a fire as well as visiting small coffee shops & patios. Creating, building & fixing things. Being on, in & around lakes & oceans, forests, caves, etc. Meeting new people, listening to and telling stories. Learning about other cultures, especially, festivals, laughter, art, music, cuisine & travel. Walking and exploring new areas.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat every living being with kindness, every one of us is sacred as is this earth and all the nature in it. Every person has something to share & contribute.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing while travelling and will be hosting when I can. In the past I have had many travelers & people stay in my home. I just was not part of the couch surfing network yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this couchsurfing network. I have had unofficial couchsurfing experiences when friends have introduced me to their contacts while travelling.

Music, travel, civil society, gardens, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, greenhouses,traditional plant uses, camping, dancing, games,(I love a challenge & will gladly play a round of golf, poker or a few games on the pool table, have even been know to play a few video games. Visiting art galleries; museums. Reading, dancing, exploring.

Live music, pretty much everything! From opera in Havana, Cuba to rock metal concerts in the Sierra Nevada,Spain & dancing all night to Colombian bands at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. I can never get too much music!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Studying & exploring in the UK for 3 months in 2010 and the 3 months in Spain in 2014. Stonehenge during summer solstice was amazing. Cave swimming in Cuba. World cup in Barcelona when Spain won in 2010! Hitchhiking across Canada!

Gardening, English language, some traditional Indigenous teachings. I can entertain with storytelling, tea leaf & tarot card readings. I enjoy helping out, am pretty good with cooking, gardening, sewing. Exchange of culture, ideas and fun!
