About Me

I've lived in Australia most of my life, in Melbourne and rural Victoria. Living in Scotland now and ready to explore this part of the of world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to make connections & meet like minded people. I originally got on to host people however found not many travelers came to my small town!

Interests

My favorite things are reading, the ocean, experiencing new places, cheese&wine (&food in general!), and sports/keeping active - mostly cycling, running, swimming&hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - practically anything. Chet Faker, Rise Against, Milky Chance, The Jungle Giants, The Wombats, San Cisco etc etc

Books - The Power of One, Warriors Don't Cry, Harry Potter, Obernewton, The Kite Runner... and there's lots and lots more!

Movies - the Skeleton Twins, Hysteria, Made in Dagenham, the 100 foot journey

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing night I had was on Malekula Island in Vanuatu on the last night of volunteering in a small village. We spent the evening lying on the beach watching the sky which was absolutely full of stars. There were countless shooting stars and a volcano was erupting on a nearby island creating a red glow in the distance. It was the most beautiful and surreal experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can attempt to teach you how to turn both arms at the same time in opposite directions (not sure how to explain it it's something that needs to be shown) however I have only met one other person who can do it ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation & fun :)
I can bake gluten free (depending on what ingredients I have access too) and I'm not to bad at cooking so can cook some yummy healthy meals.
I can tell you all about Australia (or the parts I've been to) for if you're ever planning a trip there!
I can be a hiking/swimming/running buddy :)
