ABOUT ME

After living in Colorado for 12 years my wife, Christy, and I packed up our house and headed out on a year of travelling the world! After a short time back in Colorado we're getting ready for out next adventure- moving to London!

We love spending time in the mountains and wilderness of Colorado. I met my wife Christy in Colorado Springs and have lived with her in Boulder since 2006. We snowboard and ski in the Winter and hike mountains and backpack in the summer. We also love good food (who doesn't?) and watching movies (we probably head to the cinema once a week).

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you get more out of life by helping others. Trying to have as much fun in the outdoors as I can with my wife. Travelling and seeing the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've been fortunate to host some great surfers before our RTW trip in 2011 and have meet some wonderful people through surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Totally new at official Couchsurfing, casual experience crashing on friends sofas in the past and hosting friends.

Interests

Learning to sail, reading, photography,taking longer motorcycle rides, backpacking, fishing, hiking, hunting, climbing and trekking. Tony is a dual Italian-US citizen and we are very interested in exploring his family history and culture. (CH: loves museums)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on an amazing journey into the mountains of Nepal last Fall and climbed to the 6000 meter summit of Island Peak. As a couple we trekked the O in Torres del Paine- what an amazing experience!
