Hi everybody! I am a classical pianist with many passions besides music - one of them being traveling. I have been moving around since the earliest ages: I was born in Vietnam, moved to Moscow/Russia aged three, moved to Warsaw/Poland aged six and then lived there for many years until I went off to study in New York for four years. In 2011, I moved to London to do my Master of Music degree. I am currently living and working in London, although who knows where I will be in a year or two:)

I travel whenever I can...It is a need I can not control! My dream is to go backpacking in every country in the world, and above all, to be able to combine performing and traveling in the future. I believe music is an universal language that can connect people, regardless of their culture and background. Most of the traveling I have done in the last few years, has been with my boyfriend, Patrick, a funny and talented viola player, who I met in New York and often perform with. We have been to many places together, including Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Spain, America. We hope to visit further destinations in Asia in the future, with my motherland, Vietnam, being on top of the list!

Besides traveling, I also love learning foreign languages. I can speak Vietnamese, Polish and English fluently, and am currently learning Russian, French and German. There is no greater pleasure than being able to speak to newly met friends in their native tongue!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up in the elite professional classical musicians' world, I did not have many chances to meet people from other professions. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging ideas about life and learning about their passions. The world is an open book now and traveling has never been so easy, so let's make a good use out of this! Couchsurfing brings together all the curious travelers - let's be curious together!
