I work for the NGO Humana Brasil and, amongst other things, we create and manage food gardens in schools. so if you are interested in volunteering in a food garden, I can host you for longer periods. we have a house in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro, where can I host you. I am there two days of the week, when I am working in the schools. but you could stay there when I am not, if you come as a volunteer. I can also host you outside the city, where I live, in a community in the mountains of rio. it is 3 hours from the center pf the city of rio. I also work with food gardens there and we often host volunteers too.
