I am traveling to Brownsville, Texas with my husband Wade and 2 yr old daughter- Wade has a job for 3 months and we are excited to explore. WE love being outside, being on the water, doing kid friendly activites. Would love to meet some other families!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband Wade is arriving in Brownsville/South Padre Island today (12-9-15) or tomorrow and would love to find a place to crash for a few nights while looking for a rental. We'd like to learn about the area- best mexican food, kids fun, safe and not safe places to go, farmers market, waldorf preschool or other wholesome kid care, pretty places to kayak, low-key beaches, etc!

We're not really from Florida- not sure why it says that! We're from Maine and have hosted lots of folks informally over the years :-)
