About me...well, I am an independent chick. I like to stay active--riding bikes, working out, playing, really, any sport. I am an ambivert--constantly trying to balance a good sense of solitude and gregariousness. I am a reader, volunteer, learner, and over-thinker.

I like to explore the little things. I enjoy walking around, taking whatever turn I want when I feel it is right. I have not set foot outside of the United States yet. But, that day is about to change when I begin my semester abroad.

I made the amazing decision of volunteering an hour of my time per week to tutor a little boy in the English language. That one hour a week turned to 4+ per week once I got to know the whole family. They are truly my second family. I cannot wait to reconnect with them.

I have only had one opportunity to really teach. I volunteered to teach English as a second language this past year to a child. It was life changing. Highly recommend. Learning is the best part. I am up to learning a new skill any day. I enjoy seeing, hearing, and experiencing new things. Sharing is an essential part. It leads to the actual change in the world that most seek to see.
