Hi, my name is Tara and I am 26 years old. I was born and raised in the Chicago land area, and have loved every minute of it. I am the manager for the Import department of a international logistics company. This year I am traveling to Europe for the first time, and I can't wait for all of the new experiences that this trip will in tale.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first trip abroad, and I am looking for a more unique type of travel experience. Staying with someone who knows the true ins and outs of the providence is the best way to learn the land. Also, the cultural vibe would be much more of a true experience than staying in a standard hotel.

Interests

I have been a dancer my whole life, and this is something I truly connect with. I am also a huge Blackhawks fan, and a dog lover.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music from classical to oldies to rock to country. Some of my favorite bands are the Styxx, Rise Against, Jason Aldean, and even an A Capella group called the Pentatonix. My favorite types of movies are romatic comedies, and I can sit down and read any book with a good story line for hours. My favorite book is called Castaways, and it is about a couple that fights to stay together against all odds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I have done is my career. I stated at my logistics company with no experience less than 5 years ago, and I have been climbing up the ladder non stop. I went from being an entry level employee, to becoming the manager of import department with 17 employees that report to me. I have not only proven what I can accomplish to my corporate personal, but I have proven it to myself as well. I am now the youngest manager in my company's history and couldn't be happier.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I was brought up with nothing short of top notch manners, and I will do what ever I can to help my host feel comfortable that I am there. I have no problem lending a hand when needed, and I am more than out going. I would love to get know my host, but if you would prefer to keep to self that is fine to.
