About Me

Hi there! 😊
I'm Tara from Tehran, Iran — a peaceful, curious, and open-minded girl who loves discovering the world and connecting with kind-hearted people.

I hold two bachelor’s degrees — one in Law and one in Chemistry — but my real passion is travel, nature, and cultural exchange.

My biggest dream is to visit 100 countries across all 5 continents. I want to experience the beauty of different cultures, talk to people from everywhere, and especially share stories about Iran, Asia, and the Middle East. I believe that when we connect deeply, we break walls and build bridges.

I’m truly in love with nature — untouched mountains, silent deserts, hidden beaches, and green forests. I want to feel the earth’s magic with every step I take 🌿

If you host me, you’re not just giving me a place to sleep — you're helping make a dream come true. You’re part of something meaningful, something beautiful. And I promise to bring good energy, honest conversations, and a heart full of gratitude to your home 🫶

One day, I hope to become a host too — to welcome travelers to Iran, and show them the heart of my homeland.
Iran is ancient, rich in history, culture, and kindness. It’s about one-sixth the size of Europe, has over 90 million people, and is a four-season country — snow in the north, sun in the south, mountains, deserts, forests... all in one land. 🇮🇷

If you're someone who loves helping others, creating unforgettable experiences, and making a real difference in someone’s life — maybe I’m the guest you've been waiting for ✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Traveling isn’t just about visiting places for me — it’s about connecting with kind-hearted locals, sharing stories, and creating meaningful experiences.

I’m curious to see what kind of history and culture you have and how you live your life. At the same time, I want to share stories about my own country, Iran.

I want to be a part of the lives of people all around the world, and for them to be a part of mine — even if only for a few minutes.

Through Couchsurfing, I hope to build genuine friendships worldwide and also share the beauty and culture of Iran. Hosting and being hosted are ways to create trust and understanding between people from different backgrounds.

I’m here to make unforgettable memories, learn, teach, and grow through travel and human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide range of music—from traditional Persian melodies to modern pop and indie tunes. Music always helps me relax and connect with different cultures.

When it comes to movies, I tend to watch highly rated films on IMDb from all around the world. I love stories that explore human experiences, history, and culture. Documentaries about wildlife and nature, as well as historical dramas and biographical films, truly captivate me. These movies inspire me and broaden my understanding of the world.

Regarding books, I’m passionate about psychology, philosophy, history, and archaeology. I enjoy reading works that challenge my thinking and help me see the deeper layers of human nature and civilization.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I’ve done was traveling solo for the first time. It taught me so much about independence, courage, and open-mindedness. Being alone in a new place pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me discover new strengths within myself.

That journey sparked my passion for exploring the world, meeting people from different cultures, and learning their stories. It showed me how travel can truly change a person, not just by seeing new places, but by connecting with humanity on a deeper level.

Every trip since then has been a new adventure, and I’m always excited to create more unforgettable memories with people I meet along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that travel is not just about seeing new places, but about exchanging knowledge and experiences. I love to learn from others — their cultures, stories, and perspectives inspire me and help me grow.

At the same time, I enjoy sharing my own experiences, whether it’s about life in Iran, my studies in law and chemistry, or my passion for nature and travel.

I also like to teach in small ways — by sharing ideas, recipes, language tips, or even a new way to see the world. For me, every interaction is a chance to build understanding and friendship.

Through Couchsurfing, I hope to create meaningful connections where we all teach, learn, and share something valuable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing my culture and stories from Iran—its rich history, beautiful traditions, and delicious food. I can cook some traditional Iranian dishes to make your stay even more special!

I also enjoy good conversations about life, travel, and different cultures. I’m happy to share insights from my studies in law and chemistry, as well as stories from my own travels.

Beyond that, I’m a calm and kind person who values respect and understanding. I love helping people and if there’s anything I can do, I definitely will. I’m always eager to learn from my hosts and to create a warm, friendly atmosphere wherever I stay.
