About Me

Hello!

I am currently a sophomore at App State studying Biology and hoping to go to grad school for Pharmacy.

I am not very outgoing but I love being around people. So my host does not need to feel obligated to talk/ hang out with me because I am very comfortable on my own. However, I really want to make the best out of my trip here so I would love someone to teach me the "local" things such as- how to make their favorite dinner (Ill buy the ingredients, drinks, or whatever), where the best places to eat and see, or show me some of the nightlife, ect. Again, I don't want to force my gracious host to anything but I would love the company!

I have never couch surfed before, but I am going to treat you and your home with respect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am studying abroad here at Southern Cross University at Lismore from the U.S. for the semester. I have always wanted to travel to Australia and I am so excited to get immersed in the culture. I think that the best way to do that is to stay with the locals, so that is why I decided to try out CS!

Interests

I love doing anything outdoors- hiking, rafting, snowboarding, stand up paddle boarding, camping, 4-wheeling, and watching wildlife.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I literally listen to almost everything. Pop, Hip-hop, rap, boybands, country, EDM, acoustic, Indie, jazz, reggae, rock. Just depends on the mood I am in!

I watch more tv shows than movies but I am up to watching anything.

I don't casual read as much as I would like to (I read too much for school) but enjoy a good romance, YA fiction, or humor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up the second most highest point, Mt. Elbert, in the continental US at 14,439 feet. Next up, Mt. Whitney!

What I Can Share with Hosts

good company. maybe even some beef jerky, reese, or twinkies...

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, Puerto Rico
