Our mission is to connect with awesome, down-to-earth, fun people all over the world who are kind enough to show us the ropes around their city.

ABOUT ME

We are trustworthy, dependable, and adventurous - both always willing to provide a helping hand. Over the last year we started a non-profit, Project R12, that has helped people achieve their dreams and experience life like never before. Through Project R12, we have met so many incredible people and have spent a lot of time in Africa (and hopefully that's just the beginning!) Our hope is through CouchSurfing, we can connect with other people who believe in helping others, seeing the worlds through the local's view, and just share the beauty of life.

We love to spend time with friends and family. We really treasure relationships and getting to know people from all over the world. We are a really active couple - love to do anything outside and adventurous. We are both former US College Division One Athletes so we are always up for a challenge. We prefer to see new places through the locals eyes rather than the "tourist" experience. We are the type who can be satisfied by a day of intense crazy stuff or just hang out on the couch drinking wine and hanging out. We appreciate both parts of life and are easy-going and down to Earth.

Last of the Mohicans, Titanic, Braveheart, Gladiator, Last King of Scotland...we really love movies. Fan of all different types of music. Huge fan of Ayn Rand and other authors like her.

Trying not to sound too cheesy but...

1. Seeing the joy in a young kid's eyes when they realize that someone has sponsored them to go to school.
2. Sunsets in rural places like the highlands of Africa, oceans in California, and mountains in Maine - even better with wine.
3. Drinking Guinness. Anytime. Anywhere.
