About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live, learn, share and seek constant adventure

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and experience as much as possible and have no desire to stop anytime soon. I spend most of my time making road trips, hiking, rock climbing, surfing and seeking out great food, wine, music and good company where ever I go.

PHILOSOPHY

The short version would be...honesty, experience and leaving the world better in any way you can while you're here...that is what life is all about to me. Now, if we could just teach the rest of the world to consider the same, imagine how different things could be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Got turned on to the site on a road trip through the United States and fell in love with the concept that I've continued to sell it to those around me that I think would benefit from such an experience. This is the best way in the world to keep an open mind, learn, learn, learn, and discover more about yourself along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Europe, Hawaii & California as a host and surfer. Surfed in a handful of other places in the US.

Interests

Everything outdoors, cafe-reading, good pubs, all music, and of course meeting new people with similar interests or wild ones I can learn from or be intrigued by. I'm a History major so I really dig anything surrounding this subject. Nature is my solace and teacher and anytime I can push myself to the brink with a good physical/mental challenge, whether it's to the top of Kilimanjaro or eating food off the sidewalks of Korea...I'm down.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking Kilimanjaro with some of the coolest Tanzanians I've ever met or covering a news story in an AIDS village in Uganda. Sometimes we have to experience the best and the worst in life to understand our existence and what we should be doing with our lives...and how to truly appreciate all of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to climb, and I'm a great travel agent for almost any destination and interest.

I want to learn....as much as I can...which is a lot.
