Overview
About Me
Currently living a nomadic life with my dog based out of a 1969 shasta compact. I'm a seasonal archaeologist with the Forest Service stationed out of a small river town in Northern California.
I have lived, or stayed for an extended time, in New Jersey, South Carolina, New York, Georgia, West Virginia, Louisiana, Arizona, Texas, Mexico, and California!
I'm a very easy guest and if 'hosting' is not your style I can easily entertain myself. However, I am a very friendly person and love meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to travel the local way - stay with people who know the ins and outs of a place and see what is worth seeing. I would also love to host anyone who is in my area! While I don't have a couch per say, I know of many beautiful campsites for the more adventurous souls.
Interests
I like to hike, kayak, draw, paint, etc. Basically I enjoy doing anything outdoors. In the evenings I usually relax with a book, some wine, and some music- or explore local bars and go out dancing. But my favorite is to head out into the woods to camp for a while.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am an avid learner. I believe everyone has something to teach and its important to share what you know. I know a lot about animals, archaeology, culture, and food. I am also an artist in my free time and love to paint with folks. Ask me anything and I will answer what I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook and commiserate; share stories, share art, and pass along some of the things I have learned through life.
