ABOUT ME

Hello!
My name is Tara.
I am studying for a year in northern Spain. I am from Oregon, USA. I love to write. All forms of creation and movement entice me. I´m a sucker for tiny treasure-- grocery lists found on the sidewalk, bugs of all kinds, the sound of pealing an orange.
I grew up in the woods playing Lord of the Rings with my younger sister. Mom made us wool caps and Dad made us wood swords.
The outdoors and poetry save me daily.
I believe that what goes out, comes back. Trust is ever an answer. And love can be the only reason.
Gandalf says that all we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given us. Keeping in motion with others-- dancing, playing capoeira, singing-- with the seasons, with the rhythms of my desires is paramount. I like to use my time doing, engaging, being.
