Music, Movies, and Books

David Bowie. Everything else is secondary, haha, jk, kind of. I love punk rock, especially the early stuff, but my tastes are very eclectic and range from classical to hardcore, from hip-hop to indie. Some other favorites are The Clash, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, Ramones, Patti Smith, X, Iggy Pop, Fugazi, Minor Threat, The Who, Modest Mouse, and many more but that is a good sampling of my tastes :).
I am also a lover of classic hollywood movies, indie and foreign films although I don't see as many as I would like. I am always welcoming of anyone who wants to talk about Bergman, Kurosawa or David Lynch!
Lately I have been reading a lot of books on meditation, and attempting to establish my own practice. I have also read a bit of western philosophy, and love a good fantasy novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided at age 17 to take off to Nepal alone with no previous experience traveling internationally. It was pretty bold for me at the time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an excellent cook! I would be more than happy to cook delicious vegetarian meals for you! Other than that, I am pretty low-key and quiet, but would be happy to hang out with hosts whenever.
