ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Tara. I'm a student at Williams College, which is a small liberal arts school in rural Massachusetts. I come from a rural area in upstate New York, and I love hiking, cross-country skiing, camping, and practically anything else outdoorsy. The world is a beautiful place, and I'd like to see as much of it as possible!

I'm an environmentalist, a feminist, an atheist, an ally, and a liberal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Montreal for 5 days with a friend and stayed with 2 hosts. Both hosts were incredibly nice and generous. I enjoyed the Museum of Contemporary Art and finding delicious boulangeries.

Interests

I'm a biology major. I love singing and am in a Disney a cappella group. I always have a camera (or two) on me in order to indulge in nature photography. I am currently co-president of my campus's environmental group. I love running, biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and getting lost in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like musicals and a random assortment of whatever else catches my fancy.
My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Love Actually, and Stardust.
I love fantasy books with a strong female protagonist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mont Saint Michel is probably my favorite place in the world.

I can teach you English or French, basic bike maintenance, and basic sewing.
