I finished Taras Shevchenko's National University in Kyiv. My specialization is countrystudies and international researches. Now I'm working at my dicertation work "Agricultural sector of Ukraine in formation export potential and guaranteeing food security of the state”.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hello, I'm Taras. For some reasons I can't host you now. But I can conduct exersion trip by foot in Kyiv and some cities of Western part of our country. Why am I here? Because I love Kyiv, I was born here, this is my native town, it is very ancient city and it has very long history, so I would like to show the most famous sights of history and architecture of our city and tell you some interesting facts about Kyiv.
The second reason why I'm on Couchsearfing is that I like to move and go for a walk very much and I don't belive my life without doing of these two things. And also I like to meet new people and contact with them. That's why I would like to organize for two or three hours free tours in Kyiv and some western ukrainian cities.

I can tell you many interesting things about Ukraine, its history, culture, traditions, current economical and political events in our country. And I'd like to know more about religion, traditions, culture of your own country, its political and tconomical life, moods among the popoulation about today's situation, what your citizens think about Ukraine, its current political situation, the possibity of joining our country to the EU etc.

I can help you to improve your Ukrainian or Russian, especially refill your vocabulary with new words, give you all necessary information about our country, including places and sights you should visit during your trip and staying in Kyiv and Ukraine, how is better to get to some places, about the routes of our city transport, transport system of our country etc.
