I apologize I am currently in the thick of my dissertation writing and as a result unable to host at this time.

I like to work hard so I can play hard and make great memories.

I've very active and love to always be doing something, as a result, I'm always on the go, so I apologize in advance if life keeps me from being able to host you or hang out with you while you stay! I am an animal lover and outdoor enthusiast.
I am part of a technical search and rescue team in NM and love helping others.

Note to surfers: Sometimes I've found there is an expectation to hang out from both or either sides of host or surfer (I've done both), however, I know traveling can be tiresome and life can get in the way of being able to hang out when I host, and sometimes you just want to stay in, I'm totally cool with that! Please include in your message if you are expecting/would like to hang out/be shown around town/come along to whatever I may be doing that night or nights, or if you'd rather have a more quiet night in. It helps to be on the same page so we can both have a great experience!

Suggestions for things to do in and around Las Cruces:
-White Sands National Monument (about 50 mintues away) is always a big hit, it's beautiful!
-Milagro is a coffee shop on University Ave. that has free wifi and amazing coffee, I love their Chai Tea.
-Bosque Brewing also has free wifi and great beer, it's only about a block from my house, great place to hang out and grab a brew
-We have the world's largest chili pepper....yup
-Any Mexican restaurant will have great Hispanic food, yum! Try some Green Chili Rellenos! I like Andeles dog house near Old Mesilla the best

I am willing to host if anyone is visiting southern NM or passing through! My boyfriend and I have an extra futon to sleep on, lots of floor space for sleeping bags if needed, and cats who will purr on your face at night if you let them. I live in an apartment complex near the New Mexico State University which is a pretty nice central location to be in Las Cruces within walking distance to many places to eat and a few places to go out.
