Discover the world and Discover myself in the process
I am a very inquisitive person and interested in just about everything. I love to learn about new things and experience new cultures. I always say, go big or go home, ie. if I'm gunna experience something, I want to experience the real deal all the way, no expceptions. I also like to live in the moment, and DO things rather than just talk about them or dream about them.
Do unto others as you would have them do to you... honesty... kindness... cause really, what is life without these thing. maybe im too nice, and maybe I forgive too easily, but I'd rather see the good in people than spend life miserable. Life is what you make of it
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate in LIFE in a big way :) I'm always thinking about what big adventure I can do next. I also stay grounded by volunteering lots! most recently I was working in 2 orphanages in Peru for children with disabilities. Children with disabailities hold a very special place in my heart, and I find we have so much to learn from them!
my experience in couchsurfing has been nothing but wonderful. I am constantly delighted by the outstanding generosity of perfect strangers. I am blown away by the meaningful connections I've been able to make. It's such a great way to travel to get a real feel for a country and it's culture and people. and in a broader sense such good vibes from the world to see how kind hearted people are. I have surfed lots and hope to repay all the generosity one day when I'm settled and not living out of a backpack!
travel. lol, duh! Health, fitness, cooking, nature, education, finding beauty in anything and everything, makeup, working out, laughing reallllly hard, making a fool of myself, dancing, self-improvement, acoustic music, reggae, social change, new food, live music, reading, podcasts, wandering, markets, bike riding, roller derby, documentaries, family, health, culture, warm weather, pink things.... happines :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not the hugest music fan, but I do love listening to other people's music, cause I will usually find something I like and thats how I end up with my super random mix of music. Also, I love the 'genius' feature on itunes! it always reccomends the BEST songs! acoustic and chill music, sometimes reggae, for dancing, latin music (i LOVE to dance haha when I hear and feel the music, I NEED to move)
movies are super dependent on my mood, but I'll never turn one down, movies are always better with company to watch them with :)
books! I Love reading so much! I recently got an ereader and have it full of books. I like non fiction as well as fiction (utopian books, alternate universes, magic, mystery, scientific, inspirational... Basically suggest a book and I'll probably read it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
too many to count, but I will just say travelling solo for 1 year in south and central america. I have learned so much about myself, and others and love, its incredible! The world is a hugely benevolent place and people are so kind hearted. I love my sense of adventure through everything
Teach, Learn, Share
at first I didnt know what to put here, then i looked around and realized that pretty much anything goes.
I am an expert hoola-hooper, somewhat of a health nut and can share that... I can make homemade marshmallows and can cook other yummy things
I'll add more as i think of it, cause im sure there is some.
