ABOUT ME

I'm a software developer living in Belo Horizonte. I lived in Budapest twice, during two periods of 1 year - the first time for an exchange program, and the second time for work. But I decided to come back to Brazil :D

I enjoy travelling, learning new languages and getting to know new places and people (also, I cook the best penne alla gorgonzola!)

I'm crazy about Brazilian music and I love talking about it!

Every kind of Brazilian music resonates deeply in me :)
So I enjoy the great names of samba and MPB, as well as regional rythms such as forró (perfect for dancing), axé and (last but not least) funk!

In my playlist you'll also find Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, Otis Redding, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse and many, many others!

Magnolia, The Big Lebowski, Being John Malkovich, Fargo, Kill Bill, Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight, Moonrise Kingdom are some of my favorite films (also Auto da Compadecida and Lisbela e o Prisioneiro, but I highly doubt non-Brazilian people will know these)

And I'm not gonna lie, in my spare time I still watch random episodes of Friends and How I Met Your Mother

Do you know Jorge Ben Jor? If you don't, do yourself a favor and go listen to his entire discography right now.
During the 2016 carnaval, I was at his concert, and he INVITED ME UPSTAGE and GAVE ME HIS MIC. If you ever meet me in person, be prepared to hear that story a lot of times.
