ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Green Bay in the United States, although i've been jumping around a bit for studies recently. I'm currently a student from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I study English Creative Writing and Film.

I'm a fan of American Football, although I don't watch much more than just the Packers. I also play lacrosse on my university team. I spend a lot of my time reading, listening to music or watching films.

I'm always up for meeting people or doing something new and exciting, just give me half a chance and I'll be packed and on my way.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life you've got while you've got it. There's no telling what tomorrow will bring so live for today. I want to dedicate the next decade of my life seeing and experiencing as much as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a couple opportunities to couchsurf and had a fantastic time. Now I want to share that experience with others by making my home available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent three days couchsurfing in Galway, Ireland where I met several other couchsurfers at the pub. I've also spent a wonderful five days in Cairo.

I love to read and talk about books, Im always looking for something new to read. The same goes for film, sometimes double. I also enjoy playing and watching sports. Ive played lacrosse for seven years and I enjoy watching the Green Bay Packers for American Football. I also love board games like chess and card games like hearts and am always looking for new games to learn.

music: I'm a lover of progressive rock, like Explosions in the Sky and God is an Astronaut. I feel that they manage to put classical theory into a modern medium of music and more accessible to a contemporary audience. I also enjoy such bands as Radiohead and The Mars Volta and am always open to new suggestions or tastes.

Movies: I'm a fan of many films, from foreign films like The Wind that Shakes the Barley and Let the Right One in, to Cult Classics like Donnie Darko and Pulp Fiction. Stanley Kubrick is one of my idols, as well as many other auteurs. Lately I've been branching out more into Classic Film Noir and some New Age Western, like No Country for Old Men.

Books: I enjoy mostly existential literature, classical or postmodern. Examples of some of my favorites include House of Leaves, Catch 22, Catcher in the Rye and certain novels by Stephen King.
