About Me

Looooving everything

I love life, exploring, meeting people and enjoying every moment!! I appreciate the little things :)

I love my beautiful country so much, and love to share this with others. I love to learn as much as I can about the places where my wandering finds me, to connect with people in a meaningful way, and to contribute to protecting this earth wherever it is under threat.

If your heart wants to fall in love every single day; give it the freedom to run free and seduce the world.

“To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter... to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life. ”
- John Burroughs

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted in Dunedin, NZ, off and on, and then surfed a fair bit in the U.S. during 2013. It's such a great way to travel, and to keep the passion alive while settled in one spot!

Hosted in Dunedin 2011

Surfed in California and Vancouver Island 2013

Plus meeting up with other travellers, attending CS events, etc

Learning and sharing my passion for this beautiful earth!

Getting out into the outdoors, hiking, surfing, etc...

Outdoor dance parties, festivals and camping with good people

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae, Dub, Funk, anything live and especially outdoors....

I have a new fave book every week - and at least 2-3 on the go at a time! But Kerouac is an all time fave

Movie - of course, Into The Wild. Point Break. Limitless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrises, sunsets, full moons, swimming naked with dolphins, there are amazing moments in everyday life, you just have to keep your eyes open :)

A caravan from Vancouver to New Brunswick to support Mi'kmaq anti-fracking protests. Participating in traditional First Nations ceremony in each province we passed through was such an honour and intense experience emotionally and spiritually. Then supporting the warriors on the frontlines, shutting down highways. So inspiring.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Peru, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
