About Me
Hi, I'm Taryn!
I'm a Canadian student studying Social Work at the University of Victoria.
I love painting, music festivals, craft beer and exploring new cities. I am passionate about harm reduction and mental health, and I believe that everyone deserves compassion and a chance to help themselves. I am also working as a research assistant on a federally funded research project on homelessness and housing needs in Victoria, BC. I love a friendly debate and deep conversation on politics, sociology, psychology, history, outer space, and what it is to be human.
The most beautiful thing about humanity is both our absolute individuality and also our ability to come together and care for each other in community.
Minor obbesion with frogs. Amphibian are just the freaking coolest animals, the transformation is like no other. I just want to live that life, straight chilling not a care in the world beside my pool of water. Maybe hangout in a cave later. Then hiding up in a branch. Then back to my pool. You know?
It's all about the GIVE & RECIEVE!
I love to travel!
I have a spare room, and want to help out fellow explorers 🌻
I have 2 pet toads, that do toad things all day. Stay on my couch and we can do human things all day!
