ABOUT ME

I love music, will sing given the chance (to my son's embarassment), always have the radio or music playing - anything from classical to rock. (I'm not a big C&W fan, nor rap.) My kids keep me up-to-date with music, and I do enjoy music that's less than 20 years old. Also love movies (I work in the business) but not horror. Read when I can but not enough. I've just discovered sailing & long for my own boat. Long term plans to sail the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short & sweet. It's not a dress rehearsal. Live life down on the court, not in the audience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to welcome people into my home & my state - I live in one of the most beautiful small cities in the world. Tasmania is very different to the Australian mainland. There's lots to see and do here, beautiful food, fantastic scenery and the history is fascinating. I'd also like to meet people from everywhere else, to hear their stories, to make new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove taxis for a year (I was sick of sitting behind a desk) I loved meeting people, never knowing who was going to get into my cab next.

Learning - anything to do with history, folk tales.
Teach - cooking, knitting, sewing, crochet - the last three seem to be in danger of extinction!
