Hello! I am a writer who loves to travel. I currently live in Los Angeles, where I am pursuing a career in television writing.

I was born in Northern California but was raised in a handful of small towns in Kansas. My whole family is from the Midwest, so I grew up in the kind of quaint atmosphere that includes summer road trips and backyard BBQs. While I was in college, I studied abroad in the UK twice - just because I loved it so much. My time across the pond really expanded my worldview, sparked my wanderlust, and gave me the guts to move halfway across the country to pursue my dream career.

When I'm not out exploring LA city life, I enjoy frequent Netflix binges, and am always up for pizza and Ben & Jerry's ice cream (The Tonight Dough is the best flavor). I LOVE dogs, going on hikes, and playing Cards Against Humanity.

I'm a pretty quiet person and am also very neat. I was raised to make my bed every morning and I do. I'm pretty laid back, though, and mostly go-with-the-flow. I am a flexible traveller, and usually enjoy myself the most when I can just go and experience things - I'm not someone who likes to follow an itinerary down to the minute of every day.

I like to go exploring, and I also enjoy meeting new people. I currently live with a roommate and we get along great! I'm not much of a partier, but I enjoy going out for a drink here or there and dancing/having a good, easy-going time. I like to crack a lot of jokes, and pride myself in having a good sense of humor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have two friends living in Europe at the moment, and am in the process of planning a small Euro-trip to visit them in the early spring. I plan to stop in Iceland, Poland, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Scotland while I visit my friends who live in Poland and Norway.

I'd really love to see these places through a local's eyes, and I've heard good things from both of these friends about couchsurfing. I'm excited to give it a try!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on Paramount lot for seven months on a TV show that shot on the same stage that Star Trek: Voyager was filmed on. During that time I had a lot of interesting run-ins with various celebrities, including a short but hilarious conversation with Martin Sheen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to do crafts and I know how to knit! I will probably have knitting needles with me and would be more than happy to show you! I also bake a pretty amazing banana nutella bread and would be happy to share my recipe! I'm also interested in learning about local language and culture, eating great local foods, and seeing a place through a local's eyes.
