ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, fun loving, and family oriented. I am a focused person, and when I decide to do something I make it happen. I like adventure and traveling. But I also know how to kickback and relax. I love to make new friends and try my best not to judge others. I'm religious and believe that everything I do in life reflects on those around me. I want to leave this world knowing that I made a positive impact on it somehow.

Interests

I love traveling and experiencing different cultures. I love learning about the history of different places that I go. My children and husband are my main focus in life. I love nurturing my children and spending quality time with them. I love to read! I love to keep a scrapbook (picture journal) of all of my daily adventures. I find joy in the small things, and I'm easily amused. I love spending time with people who lift me up and have a spiritual awareness about themselves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found out that my husband and I couldn't conceive children, and I was devastated. But I didn't give up and leaned on my faith in God to help me find a way to have a family. My prayers were answered and my husband and I have three beautiful adopted children.

My husband was diagnosed with cancer just over a year ago. He was so positive through the entire experience. It was amazing how much family and friends rallied to help me and my family! I still look back at those months and can't deny how blessed we were to come out of that experience with smiles on our faces and a determination to make the most out of life.
