I like to think of myself as a simple person. I am not absolute, I don't live with specific principles or rules and I like to learn from others.

About me, I'm a doctor and now I'm getting specialized in anesthesiology. However, I decided to take a gap year to get closer to my family spend more time with my friends, and do a solo trip. I would love to discuss how important decisions shape our lives. I'm trying to understand the value of taking pauses in my daily life for thinking (like meditation) which is something that I don't do and I don't know how to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cliché, but what better way to know the world than experiencing through the eyes of the locals, listening to their stories, and understanding their perspective of our world?

Couchsurfing makes me feel hope. Let me explain: I grew up in an amazing family. I believe that our world is an amazing place and people have good intentions. However, my everyday life always tries to change my mind. In a world where everything happens for profit? Where people don't trust anybody? Having an app where a stranger opens his house and heart to me, without asking for anything?? This is how I would like our world to be! And couchsurfing makes me feel that there is hope! So for that, I'm grateful.

Couchsurfing gives me a sense of belonging and security, wherever I am in the world. I know that there are people who care about me without even knowing me and who want to be my friends!!
