ABOUT ME

Joel: Currently studying economics at the University of Tasmania. When im not busy with school i play a lot of sport and i play the guitar. My greatest passion outside of music and sport would have to be travel...not very original for a couch surfer but that's ok. I wont try and describe my personality other than saying i am generally quite nice...we can all be mean at times :-).

Zuzka: Originally from Prague, now living in Tassie with my fiance. Currently working part-time and hoping to study a little bit. I enjoy reading, going for walks, and travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Joel: We grow old so quickly, yet young people have a desire to grow up so quickly.Often people are so concerned about making a living they never actually live. What is life but a series of opportunities to challenge oneself?

Zuzka: I´m a quitter, I come from a long line of quitters. Its amazing i´m here at all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We´ve hosted separately many times over the last 2 years, and havre been hosted separately many times also. We surfed together once, and hope to host over the summer while in Hobart.

Joel: Hosted in: Lisbon, Madrid, San Sebastian, Lyon, Avignon, Ljubljana, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brugge, Paris, Zurich, Bern, and Innsbruck.

Zuzka: Ankara, Brussels, Holland, Southern Czech.

Joel: Diving around the ningaloo reef in western asutralia was pretty special. So was watching the sun rise over Ankor Wat
Zuzka: Hiking in Romania, visitngs Jerusalem.
