I am 23 years old Mechanical Engineering student and I have recently started to participate in Youth Exchange Programs in order to fulfil one of my biggest desires: to travel around the world!

-I love basketball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last few years I have travelled a lot and I have to say that getting in touch with locals was one of the best experiences in every place I visited! As a result, couchsurfing will give me the chance to meet new people in an inexpensive and effective way.

Music, Movies, and Books

So music... This is a difficult question for me, as I am used to choose different styles of music. I would say that I like house and electronic music, some classic rock bands (for example Pink Floyd) and some latin artists. Also, I am currently dancing swing, so jazz music has become an every-day habit for me.

I love watching movies either at the cinema, or at home. I can't choose a specific movie, so I will refer to two movies I have seen lately and I liked very much: the first is "Goodfellas" with Robert de Niro and the second is called "Parasites", which is a South Korean production. Also I love "Ratatouille"! What is more the last few years, I prefer to watch TV series. Some of my favourite are "How I Met Your Mother", "The Friends", "Game of Thrones", "Sherlock" and "Rick and Morty".

As for the books. I prefer detective novels and phycology books. Two of my favourite authors are Jo Nesbo and Jorge Bucay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love travelling, especially during the summer I usually go camping to Greek islands. This type of vacation brings lots of adventurous or funny situations. Last summer, for example, I stayed for three nights in a small island, sleeping on a hammock on the top of a hill. Maybe it's not so special, but for me it was an amazing experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook a little and I like to experiment with national cuisines, so I have a lot of ideas (and ...dishes) to put on the table! Of course, I am always down for a conversation with a good beer, share my thoughts and my experience from previous trips.
