Born in the Czech Republic, have lived in Amsterdam, Sheffield, and now Warsaw. I like old films. My favorite directors are Ingmar Bergman and Krzysztof Kieslowski. I also like most films by Andrei Tarkovski and Robert Bresson. And I enjoyed Casablanca, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, Schindler's List, Fight Club, Matrix, Sling Blade, Lord of The Rings, and others.

My favorite anime are Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, and Ghost in the Shell.

MPFC rocks. Especially Flying Lesson, The Mouse Problem, Bicycle Repairman, Hungarian Phrasebook, and Romans Go Home. Bill Hicks was a genius, see his thoughts on marketing and It's Just a Ride. Also, watch Music and Life by Alan Watts/Southpark.

Music: Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Uriah Heep, Beatles, Louise Attaque, Ennio Morricone, The Doors, Beethoven, Divokej Bill, Agnes Obel, Nightwish (wih Tarja!), Timudej, Yann Tiersen, & others. If it isn't hiphop I'll probably like it.

Books/Authors: Terry Prachett, J.R.R. Tolkien, Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Henry Kuttner, Goedel Escher Bach, Roadside picnic. And just like you, I ought to read more.
