About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find myself, cliche but very true!
ABOUT ME
I'm a translator. Life brought me to Italy an I'm enjoying my time here. Been traveling around finding my place in this beautiful world. It all started when I was 17 and moved to Thailand as an exchange student. When I was 20 I moved to Barcelona, Spain to go college and at the end spent a year Erasmus in Heidelberg, Germany. Them my heart brought me to Turin, Italy where I've decided to stay for a while. Who knows what will be the next stop on this long journey?
PHILOSOPHY
Always look at the bright side of life! You can always learn something new out of any situation and most important of all... Smile to the world and the world will smile back!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to host people whenever I have the time to show them Turin. There are so many nice things to discover in this great city!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been a couch surfer for ever since I can remember. Be it relatives' couches when I was younger or friends couches (mostly). I had experience to couch surf the north of Sicily in 2011. It was great!
Interests
I'm very interested in getting to know other people from other cultures, I enjoy sunny days in the beach, warm cups of tea in winter, music, dancing, cooking, reading a nice book, going for a run, knitting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Latinamerican literature: Borges, Gabriel García Márquez, Sabato, etc. I'm a super fan of watching series. My favorites are The Wire, Treme, The Killing, orange is the new black, True detective. I love music, specially the kind that gets your body moving. I'm a Latina, so salsa and merengue is a must.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived with a thai family for a year when I was 17, moved to Europe when I was 20. Been a volunteer in a film festival. Swam in the sea at 6 am with a total stranger. Went to wedding in Poland and danced salsa all night long. Kite surfed with dolphins in the Venezuelan sea. Shared an umbrella with a stranger who saved me from a pretty bad storm. Fell asleep in a plane and woke up cuddling the guy sitting next to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a certified Spanish teacher, but haven't had much experience yet. I love to knit and bake and I must say I'm pretty good at it too (yes, I am a granny).
