Overview
About Me
I love meeting new people, discover new foods, having a good time, and enjoying discovering new places, so thought this would be a great way to do that. I spent a couple of summers ago couch surfing around Scandinavia and loved it! I'm currently living in Amsterdam, and working in the art field doing many a different thing :)
PHILOSOPHY
You can always keep learning.
You get back what you put out into the world.
With cake comes friends.
Always remember bananas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is an amazing way to meet new people along the way, and have first hand experiences in exciting cities!
Interests
I am hoping to travel more in the next couple of years than I have done, and not rely on others to do it! I like to be a bit arty when I have the free time to paint and draw, more recently botanical illustrations have become by nerdy passion. Over the last couple of years I have developed a love yoga, and with it have learnt restraint and patience. but I'm still finding it difficult to to have patience with myself, as I am quite a foodie and lover of beer and wine etc : )
I'm a big fan of karma and positive thinking. I believe that if your outlook is optimistic and happy, good things will happen. But it is necessary to see the small positives in your life to appreciate the bigger picture. Life is short, and can be taken away at any moment, so use it as effectively as possible :)
Also, whilst I enjoy walking around a new city and discovering a new culture, I also love a good night out, and dance when the opportunity arises! 😁
