My name is Mariano Vassalini, i'm 30 years old and i'm from San Fernando, Buenos Aires, Argentina. i've just finish my career in Social Communication so i decided to start a long trip. My first step is New Zealand. I'm a very social person, easy going with lost of friends. I love meeting new people and share knowledge and interests. Sailing is my biggest passion, the same as reading and listening to music. I also love travelling, hiking and camping. I practice a lot of sports such as football, field hockey, longboarding, slacklining and running. I don't cook a lot but I'm a good helper and fast learner. I enjoy a lot sharing time with friends, food, beer, wine and specially máte (argentinian drink).

I love travelling and i think that the best way to know a place is by meeting people who live there and can show the magic. I also don't have much money to afford every night in hostels and campings.

Sailing is my biggest passion such as reading and listening to music. I like to searh for new bands and different styles (new and old). Knowledge is my ambission and I admire people that think different.
I also love practicing sports such as football (soccer), longboarding, slacklining and yachts regattas.

The Beatles is my favourite band but I listen to a lot of styles and genders such as reggae, rock, ska, pop. I don't listen electronic music and sometimes i hate the new electronic square pop that sounds on the radio.
Julio Cortazar, Jose Saramago, Haruki Murakami are my favorite writters, they inspired me and let me thinking. I also read a lot of other differents autors.

I've race lots of cruicing regattas (2 or 3 days sailing), I've made two long hikings (Laguna negra - Cerro Tronador, Bariloche and Round the Ruapehu mountain circuit, Taupo).
