About Me

Hi, I’m Tatsuya from Japan, living in Tokyo, and working in the pharmaceutical industry as a project manager.
I’m really interested in learning about cultural differences and also common things even though our culture is different.
My home is close to Tokyo Station, less than 15 mins by taxi, and within walking distance(30 mins) of the Tsukiji area. I hope it’s a good place to stay for you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wanna chat with you!
When I visited Taiwan and HongKong in 2023, I met many awesome couch hosts and learned that meeting a great host can make the travel much more memorable!!

Plus, I really like to talk with local people when I’m on traveling. If I could chat with people around the world at my home, that’d be amazing!
I’m glad If you are an English speaker.

Interests

I’m obsessed with bouldering. If you were a climber, let’s climb.

Music, Movies, and Books

Business related books.
Used to listen to 80s-90s rock music. Red Hot Chili Peppers. Rage Against The Machine.
Now only Lo-Fi Hiphop, such as Sleepy Fish and Blue Wednessday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Vienna for six months.
Since I hadn’t had any experience like studying abroad by then, that was first experience living abroad. Unfortunately, I didn’t speak German at all but everyone was so kind and I got a lot of opportunities to see European countries during the six months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I got an MBA in 2025 and now I’m taking learning Psychology at Uni while working. Lifelong learning is my commitment :)
