I'm a college student majoring in physics at Cornell University. I'm originally from Malaysia, and I moved to the US back in 2016 to start my studies. I travel for the adventure, for the learning experience, and for the exposure to different walks of life. Even more honest tho, I just like to walk around in beautiful places that resemble the shire from Lord of the Rings

Though I won't say I'm an avid traveler, I've been to plenty of places in Asia and I've managed to cover a little over 20 states in the US by doing road trips. However, every time I come back from my trip, surprisingly I still didn't feel quite content. I think that it's because I didn't try to fully immerse myself in the local cultures of the places I've visited. I didn't make connection with the locals, so all I have from the trip are just pretty pictures. I hope to change this by joining the CS community and make new friends everywhere I go.

I have a wide range of interests in music - anything from rock, EDM, soft pop, and a tiny bit of classical music. Though I'm all rusty now, I still play a little piano as well.

As for movies, I like the adventurous/action, fantasy, mystery, or the comedy kind. (Marvel's movies, Memento, LOTR & Star Wars to name a few)

Books - fantasy like Game of Thrones to sci-fi like the Ender's Game. Occasionally I try to read pop - sci books in my spare time
